Candlepower

$800.00

I was inspired by my visits to marshes and lakes to draw a damselfly atop a cattail. When I started working on this piece, I realized that the damselfly looked like a blue flame on a candle, seamlessly blending together and drawing energy from each other. A passing bobcat is struck by the sight of the flaming apparition. Is he moved to attack the damselfly or is he reacting in fear or wonder? Or is he possibly considering his own short tail, being a bobcat himself?
